Quad is pleased to announce the successful collaboration with Nucor Nebraska and Kocks to install a new 8-stand Intermediate Kocks mill in Mill 1 of Nucor’s facility in Norfolk, Nebraska. Quad provided substantial interfacing upgrades to transfer key rolling process parameters as well as up-to-date Kocks roll information to Nucor’s BAMICON system. The resulting interface from Quad enables Nucor Nebraska to control and update its roll inventory and mill recipe information in one system: QMOS.
