Quad Infotech is completing a development of an Alloy Calculator optimization tool. The new tool provides a real time optimization built on a complex model to calculate the optimum alloy requirement based on the chemical and physical requirement, alloy cost and material availability. The seamless integration of the optimization tool with QMOS enables the user to validate the recommended alloy additions and expected chemistry results while keeping the total alloy cost at minimum. Furthermore, the recommended alloy additions can be sent to Level 2 system for automatic alloy addition.
