In version 10.5, QMOS Roll Shop has greatly improved from the past versions. Whats been improved significantly to enhance the Roll Shop functionality are the following:
Roll Turn Priority Screen:
Priority Roll Turn screen in RSP (Roll Shop Planner) gives the user the ability to see more than just a select view of the roll turn work orders. This new screen provides a view of all outstanding roll turn work orders. It also allows the user to prioritize all work orders on the go. A series of tools within this screen allow the user to access various information such as the roll turn work orders, complete roll and roll set information and much more.
Advanced Filtering for Roll Set Allocation:
The Roll Set Allocation screen has vastly improved by concentrating on the specifications of the physical roll. The characteristics of a roll (i.e. Vendor Hardness, Measured Hardness, Diameter, etc.) can now be used in a more specific way by its actual item class to which it was purchased or assembled under. This allows the allocation filter to select the best rolls for the product more precisely. The enhanced use of the roll attributes enables the system to know exactly what items to filter more precisely when selecting physical rolls for allocation to the roll set.
