QMOS Shipping (SHP) module provides all the necessary tools to build, plan and ship loads for finished goods and blooms by truck, rail and barge.  Beginning with sales orders, loads can be optimized and scheduled for pickup in order to ensure on time delivery and maximum loading efficiency.  Carrier management provides the ability to establish carrier rates and surcharges.

QMOS SHP provides direct view into real time production and complete inventory management capabilities allow shipping personnel to manage the inventory for minimal handling and maximum efficiency by planning the placement of material directly from production to staging material for loading.

QMOS SHP’s Pick Lists are generated based on the scheduled loads for use by the loaders and is also communicated real time to the crane operators on their screens.  Bundle or bloom tags can be scanned, automatically released from inventory and reconciled with the order and load.

QMOS SHP’s Gate Management provides the ability to weigh in and out the vehicles and log all necessary information from vehicle weight to driver name as well as printing the load ticket.  Bill of Lading, Certified Material Test Reports, Invoices and more are available for printing with each load.

QMOS SHP makes full use of client-server technology, and works on OracleTM, SybaseTM and other popular database platforms as well as with any third-party control systems.
