Sales Order Entry

QMOS Sales Order Entry (SOE) module provides full functionality needed to enter sales orders. This includes all functionality from Quotes to Stock Orders including Electronic Order Acknowledgement. QMOS SOE provides the sales person with a real time view into the production schedule in order to provide accurate promise dates and monitor the progress of an order.  The sales person also has a view into the inventory (Billets and Finished Goods) in order to promise available material to orders immediately.  Real time monitoring of tons booked versus tons planned provides control over over-booking.

QMOS SOE provides the ability to manage product pricing by product and/or Customer.  Establish the price for all products including surcharges and customer specific discounts that will automatically be applied as the order is taken.  Price adjustments such as base price increase or surcharges can easily be made.

QMOS SOE’s New Product Inquiry [NPI] provides sales with the ability to initiate a request for a new product that will be routed to the necessary personnel for review and approval as well as establishing all the product and customer requirements for production.  Similarly, Customer Claims Management (CCM) provides sales with the ability to initiate a customer claim for review by the appropriate personnel and generate credit information needed for accounting.

QMOS SOE makes full use of client-server technology, and works on Oracle TM , Sybase TM and other popular database platforms as well as with any third-party control systems.
