QMOS Roll Shop Planner (RSP) modules provide regular and timely roll and setup shop management information to operators in a format they can easily work with. These tools are designed to schedule and drive roll shop activity, to record mill performance, to help the operators make optimal decisions during their shifts, help managers perform analysis and view trends allowing for consistent improvement to the process.

QMOS RSP bridges the gap between corporate computer systems and control-level PLCs. It makes full use of client-server technology, and works on OracleTM, SybaseTM and other popular database platforms as well as with any third-party control systems.
