The New Ladle Management System (LMS)

After a long wait and much anticipation, QMOS has unveiled the new Ladle Management System (LMS).

The new module, equipped with the capability to track lives and contact time on ladles and their components, is designed to be a user-friendly, flexible and reliable system for all shops regardless of their layouts.  LMS provides the ability to define all equipments on a ladle, edit all aspects of data collection, as well as to control the flow of ladle movements throughout the Melt Shop. 

With three screens serving different purposes, LMS provides flexibility in defining exactly what components are used for a particular ladle.  Need to know the contact time, used heats, stir time and more on specific ladles and equipments? LMS has it all. 

In addition, LMS allows the operators to control the movement of the Ladles, whether it’s by sending one to the Tap location or the Repair Bay for maintenance.
